The design of this catamaran is from 2004. In the meantime the sail in many countries of the world.
From India, Karimun Jawa island, New Zealand. This is reflected at the different photos shown. The boat, which was built in India. It was sailed, the whole treacherous coastline India. A distance of 2600 miles.
Construction is as always the time proven wood/glass/Epoxy composite system. This approach combines the natural strength and flexibility of wood with the durability and waterproofing properties of fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin. The result is a strong and lightweight catamaran known for longevity and ease of maintenance.
The combination of multi-chine design and backdecker structure ensures that even amateur builders can achieve professional-quality results, with ample accommodation and lasting durability. See also the layout drawing.
Big storage areas (inside and outside) makes the boat a perfect boat for extended vacations.
The plans show two sail plans. The first is a conventional fractional rig. The wishbone gaff rig has a roller reefing jackstay for fast main sail operation (see next page). Engine choices, two outboard engines, each with about 5 HP, or a single center-mounted outboard.
